Why I Started The Permanent Marker

There’s a moment when you know the old way just isn’t cutting it anymore.

After decades behind the mic, in front of a computer and in front of the whiteboard, I realised I’d spent my life helping other people find their voice — but had forgotten to use mine.

I started The Permanent Marker because I believe great ideas deserve to stick. Not just flash in a scroll, not just disappear in the noise — but land. Resonate. Stay.

Whether I was producing radio, tech supporting or teaching students how to create on their own, one thing was always clear: the message matters. And how you tell it? That’s what makes it memorable.

TPM is my next chapter — a space for creativity, clarity, and content that doesn’t wash away after 24 hours. I’m here for the doers, the starters, the storytellers. The ones who are sick of blending in and ready to say something that actually means something.

So if that’s you — let’s talk.
Let’s make your message permanent.
